I am fundraising for the Michigan Gift of Adoption 2024 Stepping Up Stair Climb!

One of the largest barriers standing between a child in vulnerable circumstances and a permanent family is the high cost of adoption - which often ranges between $25,000 and $35,000. Gift of Adoption is a national non-profit that raises funds to provide grants to complete the adoptions of children in vulnerable circumstances – giving them a permanent family and the chance to thrive. These grants help adoptive parents cover the final costs associated with making their child a permanent member of their family.

As of December 31 2023, Gift of Adoption Michigan has awarded $525,000 in adoption assistance grants across Michigan to complete the adoptions of 172 children. 100 percent of proceeds raised through the Stepping Up Stair Climb will go to the Gift of Adoption Michigan Chapter.
